South Wales to...its close. The cold front must be starting to engage with the unstable airmass nicely now.

As daylight arrives here it looks like blue skies with some high level cirrus overhead. At least this could mean some decent solar heating once the sun gets to work and not the usual dull, greyness that is usual in plume set ups. As I chose not to chase last night I am really hoping the East Midlands can get something today.

I'm in the far south of Bristol so the closest batch ain't too bad for me, with my window looking out west happy days, sferics however really don't seem to be dieing out at all so.

Not looking good so far, the storm is breaking into two, one side heading towards Wales, and the other towards London.
