Where's the "Like" button!!

Its a green up arrow at the bottom right of each post - I believe it's only visible when signed in to the forum (and obviously wont be visible against your own posts)

Judging by how empty this thread is today, my guess is that the damp cool boreathon is set to continue....nothing to see here, move along! :cray::80:  :lazy:

Ah, the damp, cool boreathon, cousin of the dry, warm, not a hint of convection on the forecast boreathon.

Is this boreathon going to come to an end soon? It reminds me of when everyone is waiting for snow in the winter and instead we get cold, damp, drizzle crap for days on end!

I actually don't mind this, can't have sun and thunderstorms all the time. The clouds are interesting here we have 100% grey clouds but with lines of low LCL. Reminds me of when the afternoon of thunderstorm have passed. Edited by Greenday

BBC showed a lightning symbol over me tomorrow on their latest forecast.

Yeah it looks like some possible convective interest tomorrow for more southern areas, crept up on me as I was working on my report due today.

Haha, haven't looked at everything but seems to me like some slow moving heavy/thundery downpours may form as long as earlier cloud/patchy rain clears enough and doesn't linger too long, so some places could get a downpour or storm though as things are slow moving others may stay mainly dry. Though with winds offshore in east Devon we may have a reasonable chance.. (no guarantees)Will be driving home from uni tomorrow, so may see something on the way or more likely in the afternoon once I get back.

I'm guessing that the SLP is low enough in the area of interest at what looks like around 1016mb, I'm still a little bit unsure about how to work out SLP's and which is classed as low and high etc apart from obvious weather systems.

The winds in that area looks interesting with a swirl and a wind convergence in France.

but possibly clearing throughout the afternoon but with dewpoint temps and surrounding air temps still being close enough for high relative humidity and low cloud bases. What the hell I drew in what I think could happen if potential is tapped into, maybe a little generous with the cape and Li :)

That's the run for 12Z anyway.
