A cell pushing in from the SE, now. Can see it clearly. The structure is more like a weak shelf cloud than a normal shower.

Band cleared through about 30 minutes ago and the sun came out, now going very dark to the south of MK once more, nothing showing on radar but by the look of the sky and the fast cumulus development I'd say something is trying to form to the south in the clearer air. Have three clips from the storm earlier which I am uploading in HD to Youtube, will publish later once my poor old internet manages to send them.

It's definitely weakening on the western front, it'll be because there's been little insolation sat under the cloud and murk of the front.

Just had a torrential shower here. As heavy as the storm from Wales on Monday!

Just typical that the moment we had a bit of hail and thunder I went into the exam hall for an hour and a half :(

Lovely long rumbles of thunder coming from my NE, anyone in Sheffield heads up if it develops any more!

Wow, just north of peterborough here and everything is flooded! Been many years since we've had so much rain in a short space of time. Deafening thunder and bright flashes as I type!

Just drove through what can only be described as monsoon rain on the M6 between Cannock and Walsall. Dunno whether there was thunder...couldn't hear anything.
