Ooh, good luck! The most intense thunderstorm I ever experienced was when I lived in Menden in Germany. We lived on top of a hill so had a perfect vantage point to watch it. The only downside was it fried our TV!

Thanks! :)

I got a small part of the storms from Monday on camera if anyone is interested. The thunder sounds pretty nice in my opinion

Watching the real time lightning map and hearing the little "tick" sound is becoming rather addictive! ;)

Such an awesome map though, i never though we would have access to live detection as good as this...

The storm is France is crazy!

Radar seems to be telling Porkys. Currently showing moderate rain over Great Yarmouth but there's not a drop falling. Evaporation maybe? Seen it many a time during these situations.

One place in France has recorded 55 lightning strikes within one square mile!!Pretty sure this stuff is heading ENE so probably won't get a look in from this stuff, I have learnt to deal with disappointment haha.

Thank god I have a full case of beer, tonight's going to be very interesting!

If nothing actually happens tonight, you won't really care after drinking a case of beer! If it did, you won't remember!
