Hmmmmm I'm hoping we get to see at least one storm here today. I seem a little too far east at the moment, I'm in Buckinghamshire and just hope we get something this afternoon. We have a nice shower coming in at the moment from the west London direction.

seen 2 lightning flashes.. 1 was in the air.. the other may have been a CG.. looked a ball :s Lots of thunder... ~ storm very stagnant over SE Wales.. wishing it would come a little closer!

Wow just looked at the radar and that storm around the IOW looks a little beast :) I't looks like it's moving NNW to me.

Looks like the Cumbrian fells have managed to keep the ppn away to the E/SE, overcast but dry so far today. Good luck to you guys further south! Anybody on the IOW - looks like a good few strikes on the western side!

Very large convective drops of rain falling in the center of MK now, sky filling in with dark clouds... Have this feeling it's going to go bang within the hour  :yahoo:

South east of high Wycombe 8 to 10 minutes ago, lightning, thunder a second after. Thought i'd chance popping to the shops thinking there won't be anything for a while, boy was I wrong!!
