Since 11am, there has been thunder every 10 seconds or so which has been distant but this thunderstorm seems to have my location in its sights!

Looks like the no storm dome over London is starting to lift, look at the cell to the south west of London :)

Are you in Chatham or Central London at the moment Harry?

Sorry, C London (Cannon Street) - some of the activity to south of London on radar at least is going crazy!!!

Haha It seems that most of the activity is where the Met Office cancelled the warnings lol

Looks like most, if not all of midlands, S England, E Anglia will get a pasting today. Think it'll weave close to me, but will be no dice.

The MK storm is throwing out a serious amount of sferics.

Not joking it was NUTZ with a capital Z, the thunder was so loud and close at one point  it made me cower, really thought I was going to be struck

Was totally gutted that the further it went from me the more thunder I could hear.

The first storm we had here lasted about 25 Mins, it's now pushing away north-ish towards Milton Keynes/Buckingham. It looks like we have another one incoming from the south, I can hear the thunder rumbling away.

Precisement....precisement...that's what I said earlier, as soon as they dropped it I posted that we were more likely to get storms today.

I'm amazed they haven't put them back up again. Do the Met Office just refuse to acknowledge weather conditions in the afternoon or something?!

This is what I'm keeping an eye on, it's probably my best chance, plenty of sferics around that area too.

Looks more favourable here tomorrow, shower wise but you can bet there will be little thunder with them.

Heard two bits of Thunder and saw one strike from the cell just brushing past Crawley. Not much rain as more over Horsham I think. All heading north!
