Look at London it's like someone has put a no weather dome over it lol

Exactly what I thought when I looked for the storm action on the radar!

From yesterdays forecasts it looked like us further North were in the best place!

Just hope it can all keep its strength and make it up here!

Nice little storm veered to the east at the last minute but still got clipped by it. Another cell forming behind it wondering if we can be fluky and get seconds :p

Storms veering East....classic tornado opportunities that screams to me. This tying in with claims of rotating cloud bases...sounds like there's certainly scope for funnels today, keep an eye out chaps!

Chap across the road quite clearly off on a mini chase lol...nice shot btw.

Good on him, I will be doing the same shortly. My view from home is rubbish so tend to drive the 4 miles into open countryside. I need to figure if to head closer to Nottingham though but will be able to answer that if the cells get closer.

Furstrating this, was Wales and the west the other day, now the south and east. Can almost guarantee all these will end up in Lincs.

Huge building shaking rumble of thunder then, clearing away now. Can't believe I had to work through it and listen to the rain pummelling the skylights:(

A few gaps filled in where there are now active storms forming a line from Cardiff to Northampton, anywhere north and west of this line stands a decent chance for the next few hours. I agree patience is needed.

According to Netweather radar in that line active cells in Cardiff, Carephilly, Cwmbran, North of Bristol, Cirencester, Chipping Norton, MK, Biggleswade, Northampton.

Plenty of other cells behind this also looking pretty sweet

That being said, the cell to the SE of here looks to be re-intensifying, and coming this way.

First storm now clearing MK to the north, that was intense to say the least, can hear more thunder booming away to the south of MK so I suspect round two isn't far away. Managed to grab a couple of vids on the IPhone as it was close with the torrential rain and hail core, at one point the lightning and thunder were within a second of each other and the whole garden is now flooded with water...  :yahoo:

Its one of those days where you look at the netw weather extra 5 minute radar and see cell explode in 15 minutes. If you have it focus it on Morton-in-the-Marsh at 1:45 and then scroll forward 15 minutes to see from nothing a great looking cell on Evesham's doorstep. Lovely.

I am directly West of Northampton facing south at the centre of this panorama, going to head East into the noisy bugger.
