Perhaps that might be it as the cape values will be decreasing substantially from now on?

Wow! That was amazing. FIVE WHOLE MINUTES of light rain. Not just drizzle mind, actual light rain! And there was this bright light all across the sky the whole time!

Oh, what you say? Yes, yes, it is still daytime. Oh, that was just daylight? Not a constant 5 minutes of lighting. Oh.

Another non-event here then.

Radar not looking great with very little lightening being picked up away from Cumbria, not a patch on yesterday evening.

Not surprised there wasnt many storms today. Was concerned as soon as I saw the messy satellite images around lunchtime which I alluded to earlier. But a few have managed something which is good.

Yeah I think it is, except for those under the storms in Cumbria, and perhaps those further north of said storms.

Lets hope Thursday's thundery rain has some actual thunder :D

Well thats the end of this 'event' as far as my location is concerned. No thunder here, infact not even a shower!

Glad that at least somewhere in the Uk saw some good storms from this plume, some real monsters in Wales yesterday!

Hopefully a sign of things to come in the next few months!

The clouds are a funny kind of creamy yellow. Sickly looking. Does anyone know if that heralds a storm?

If that storm currently north of Cumbria can keep up then I say you're going to get smacked....but the question is, will it?

Well I wasted my time chasing today... not that I actually did any chasing.... let's try again.

Well I wasted my time sitting down looking at netweather radar today whilst staring at developing clouds collapsing on themselves interspersed with periods of more monotone grey clouds. Okay I caught a shower around Bakewell with some dark clouds.

Still, we all get bustola's... it's just this year has brought more than most to me so far.

EDIT: Oh and a bird cr@pped on my car but it's ok because I just got a text saying I have been approved for a £500 loan today... one I never applied for :D
