T

Frequent distant thunder here coming from a cell to the SE, every few seconds! Must be a very active cell. Large raindrops here from a dark cloud above which is developing more to the N. Again, the storms look to be missing us - they playing dodgeball or what?

Didn't you read this mornings briefing?Monday pm: Bobby Dodgeball.Tsk! Serves you right for not keeping with the programme!

The summer storm shield isn't activated yet so get your act together.

In all honesty, "Normally" I dont expect to see storms kick off until  15:00 onwards in the summer.

Around now is a good time to start seeing ignition all over the place.

Eyes south..

Is that purple area north of Wales likely to be rain or hail, anyone?

From Cells like that, i wouldn't be surprised if there is hail on the trailing edge of the CB. The leading edge is probably be very heavy rain.

Was about to comment that wales will continue you get battered as more big electrified storms have developed in South Wales.

Web cam for Abergavenny shows some potent showers

Just catching up with the thread - all I can say is, you lucky peeps in Wales!

Can't beat the build up and excitement of storm potential, even if it is currently for other areas of the country and not my little corner.  Enjoy :D  :good:

Make the most of it though, but take care. :good:

On the other hand the cell passing Newport seems to be some sort of backbuilding storm as seems to be a new cell forming directly behind it.

As a 32 Year old, When I see storms heading for me, I'm like a child running between windows , up and downstairs, checking the radars. Grabbing the camera, running again up an downstairs. Jumping up and down like a girl at a Justin Beiber concert.

Your not the only one! :p
