Ive only heard thunder like this personally in Florida. For the past 20 minutes there has not been a break in the thunder.

Wow wales is up there with the best storms in Europe right now! Very rapid development! A few cells exploding into life down here too though no sferics.

Just had a peak at the radar, and those storms by wales look amazing.  :D Some forecasts say my area will get something thundery and others just light rain. After living on the south-east coast most of my life and seeing some impressive channel imports, where I am now seems to miss any action :(

Some rapid cumulus development in the area some if which are beginning to tower up, looks like the cap is close to breaking as temp here is sitting at 25.4'c

My hopes are pinned on some precipitation being forecast to move up from the SW later this evening/tonight...but at the moment I am a bit unsure what to make of it all to be honest.

Great stuff going on in Wales. :)

That storm in north Wales look pretty awesome.  Very weak Cu here, becoming overcast with temps falling so expecting nothing.

Seeing some huge cloud development just north of me here in Southampton.  Really towering in places!

despite the nice echoes, noting too major (loud) here actually! basically nothing directly overhead, thunder seems to be either a few miles west and east of us.

There was a lovely breeze here in Surrey earlier that has now gone, humidity has flown up.

Frequent distant thunder here coming from a cell to the SE, every few seconds! Must be a very active cell. Large raindrops here from a dark cloud above which is developing more to the N. Again, the storms look to be missing us - they playing dodgeball or what?

The summer storm shield isn't activated yet so get your act together.
