The day went pretty much as forecast although the actual clearance seemed later arriving than they were expecting.

It made for good viewing though.

Clammy just about sums it up.

Not the best of days weather wise but at least dry and with a bit of sun but it certainly felt close.

As often seems to be the case it's looking like a change of month will bring a change of weather with something more seasonal on the way.

Incredible how dry it's been here during September, 21 days with no rainfall at all and under 20mm for the whole month with over half of that falling on one day.

Just hope that the rain holds off tomorrow and not spoil what has been an incredibly dry spell.

Decent day

Yes after a dull ish start it turned into another good day.

In these parts, last nights threatened showers failed to materialise so, providing the incoming rain keeps away until after midnight we should end up with a sub 20mm total for the month.

Even so the leaves are starting to change colour and fall, maybe the lack of rain has accelerated that and I'd imagine the forecast weekend wind will quickly change the appearance of the season.

18C at 4pm, I fancy the last truly 'warm' day of the year.
Wind has been gusting around 30mph most of the day which took the edge of this last nice bright day.

Showers on/off through the late morning into the afternoon with some being heavy.

Well hust thought I would pop in and see when the artic blast is arriving (joke).. chilly day today with nice sunshine can't quite believe its that time of year again.

Haven't been on for a while as ive recently lost a friend and neighbour and now got a terminally ill 15 year old cat which needs to be put to sleep the vet wanted to do it the other day but I said no so they gave her long lasting painkillers and I have to take her back maybe today.
