A bit cooler this morning with more cloud around thanks to the cold front lying over the north of the UK, still dry with the odd glimpse of sun. Temp 15.4c.

Not been a bad day really.

Looked like rain since late afternoon but managed to cut the grass and it's still fine.

Or November .....

It can certainly leave it until November for me.The longer the heat lasts the cheaper the bills are and that suits me fine.As fot this morning, a bit miserable at present but the forecast is favouring us compared to others further south so hopefully things will brighten.9.5c though so feels at bit coolish.

Persistent light rain from first thing this morning, also a fairly cool temp of 13c, hardly flaming june, just hope the rest of summer can improve, infact the weather last weekend would do me nicely temps around 23c and some good spells of sunshine

Yes compared to last weekend, this one has been poor so far with the promised improving conditions failing to arrive, at least up here.Hopefully tomorrow can rescue it though.

Not been a bad one today.

Brilliant clear sky with warm sunshine until lunchtime when massive thunder clouds started to appear.

Had a few light showers, as was forecast but they did little more than wet the ground.

Hopefully another good day tomorrow before a gradual breakdown towards weekend and it's looking like typical local weather of sun and showers for the Yorkshire stages of the Tour De France.

Dissapointing day here , roll on holidays !!......

Yes there's only one thing worse than a cloudy miserable summers day. That's when all we get is how lovely it is in other parts of the country.

Looks like it'll be the first proper wet day in a while. Other than the couple of mm the other day it's been dry since early June. The garden could do with it!

Rain on and off since 3pm... 21c but feeling cooler in breeze... Hopefully tomorrow and sunday should both be better warmer days and might be ok for the tour... Glossop in lock down sunday... So time to watch mens final wimbledon, roast a leg of lamb and watch some cycling...
