Somehow we managed to avoid all the showers today here in Darlington had a fairly strong wind for the time of year seems to be brightening up more now with a decent area of blue sky moving in

Looks like tomorrow will start on a wet note before brightening up during the morning with the sunshine possibly triggering some heavy showers

Rotten start here with heavy showers but they eased into the afternoon and the last few hours have been dry and bright although with a gusty wind.

Not a lot of hope for the weekend and into next week either.

There are some insane radar echoes over the Peak District atm, must be fun if there's anyone near Ladybower :)

The showers seem to becoming less frequent now in Darlington after a wet spell this morning getting more lengthy spells of sun now

A warm day though given the wind it feels cooler than the 15.2c we currently have

Just been to Chorley food festival and I got soaked by the heavy shower with a odd rumble of thunder.  I am looking forward to Eurovision tonight.

I had a ostrich burger and I enjoyed it. :)

Bizarre weather in Liverpool !!! Half the sky blue and sunny. The other half black. Just had some heavy rain and hailstones. The sky looks like thunder is coming !!

Looked for all the world it was going to pelt it down around 15:00 but surprise surprise the cloud just moved away at the last minute last chance of some rain till Sunday at the earliest with high pressure building in settling things down and sending the temperature up
