I think there's a low chance of storms tonight/early hours in the south east, had lots of alto cumulus today which we didn't have on Friday and also plenty of mackeral skies this evening!

Better chance than Fri/Sat

Under a weakly active shower train atm, some very heavy bursts of rain. I've even heard TWO RUMBLES OF THUNDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!  That's me happy for the rest of the year!!!!!

Finally back in Saffron Walden, nice towers starting to sprout. Had a few big splashes of rain. Lovely day overall. Hopefully there will be storms over the next 36 hours. Monday night I think we could et hit by something big, otherwise probably just scattered showers.

Well better late than never I guess, Jeez. Was planning on getting on Friday just gone, but Could not get on Internet, Server fault, OK now though. So what an outstanding day with all the summer trimmings, Temp gauge was reading 26c, but it could be slightly over cooking it, I think around 23.5 more actual. Got no storms at all Saturday, Rain yes...No voltage and bangs though. Next week looking pretty damn good considering a slight sip of precip. Hope everyone has had a good day.

Spent the evening in a pub garden :) could not have asked for better weather today really, still feeling rather warm inside now.  Dry and calm is the order of the evening.

There could be some real humdingers in the north of the region tomorrow (Cambridgeshire northwards into Lincolnshire looks best). Depends how quickly the cap breaks tomorrow. But there will be plenty of heat and humidity to drive things.

Temperatures could hit 25C on Thursday and Friday if the models are correct, so all in all a decent week weatherwise.

Time for bed  :lazy:

Estofex have issued a Level 1 Alert for the region tomorrow, while a Level 2 sits just off of the Kent Coast.

Could be an interesting day.
