Afternoon all

Yep been the same here, cooler than yesterday and overcast but not feeling too bad and no rain (that I saw anyway) which helps as I have a few things outside to do this weekend so it needs to dry out a bit.

Great evening here. Sunny skies and light breeze blowing the clouds away. Looks like the weekend will be good also.

Cloudy this morning but brightened up this afternoon to give us a high of 18c. Hoping for some sun this weekend so I can take my new garden lounger for a test drive :D

Cloudfest down here! Someone help me before I die of boredom!

Just about sums it up for the whole of this week here. Not only is it boring, it's depressing :(

evening all, been out for a meal (and a drink, yes) and now winding down as I have the joys of work in the morning again.

Nicer out this evening and quite mild for the walk back.

It showed me a glimpse of blue sky at 7pm does that count? It was a very small patch but at least I know it's there still, I was starting to wonder..........

Well hopefully my day out in Cambridge will be fine and dry. Certainly looks that way :)

I suspect we won't get too much rain until midweek. I think the fronts will be rather weak in nature. Then it goes downhill from Tuesday night.

And it is morning already.

Feeling cool but not cold, stepped a couple of feet out the door to put some stale bread out for the birds, dry but rather overcast so looks very dull.

It was sunny here when I woke up. Now cloudy again. Watching the new X-Men film today so hopefully that will be good.

  • Temperatures into heatwave territory and no rain

Some parts of the UK could qualify for heatwave conditions later this week and it's not the usual suspects. No rain as water levels decline and how are the evening skies for LanuchAmerica viewing? Watch the video here

High pressure in the driving seat until at least the end of May

High pressure continues to dominate our weather until at least early next week, with most staying dry and fine. The warm conditions will spread north, and the highest temperatures will transfer to the west as the high moves east and eventually over Scandinavia. Read the full update here
