Checking in a bit late to confirm lightning and a few rumbles of thunder here in Northwood earlier ( around 3pm ). That came as a nice suprise. It's been a a good few days here.

Had torrential rain coming back from Basildon to Benfleet, another cell pushing into Southend now (getting the edge of it)

Witch! LOL, My guess is that it's the pressure too!

 

There's no major pressure changes with a thunderstorm, more likely something to do with changes in electrical currents or magnetic fields I would guess

and bah! to the Monday onwards outlook

 

Just watched Pacific Rim again (I like a good action film does me, big robots fighting big aliens, oh yes!)

 

As it is so much cooler I have surrounded the room in  lit scented candels (sounds girlie/girley no idea how you spell that one) and it may not be much warmer but it feels it with the glowing ambience and soothing fragrance.

 

Had another heavy shower here a while ago, only know that as I heard it, not been out since the afternoon.

 

Dinner was boiled goose egg with Suffolk smoked back bacon rolls (added chips too, naughty )

Seems a fair few had a lot of rain yesterday and chat of storms.. Driving from Newhury to the coast did see and pass through a couple of decent ones.. But the best bit about yesterday was the sun coming through.. For to the beach and it was splendid. Must have lasted a good three hours..here's the proof.. Great heh?

Hallo Peeps

 

Looking a much better day that yesterday, does not feel any warmer mind, more so with the strong breeze but drier and brighter, with that all in mind a wander quickly to town for a few things (need to pot on some house plants so a bag of quality dirt is needed) and then may take a stroll trough the park onto the nearby village to see the folks.

 

Hope your all having a beautiful day (still a day to go for many this weekend too, result!)
