Rumbles being heard now in Dartford.

That must be the storm I can see coming up from the South, just over the bridge.

intersting the wind has completely died down now since the storm passed through. Was quite windy before the storm now calm as you like

From the radar, it would appear that the southern Fens (roughly where Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk meet) is also lively.  Quiet here ATM.

Yes, definite thunder and lightning and rain, with some heavy downpours at time, in Uxbridge. Unfortunately I had a student with me for a meeting and my back to the window for the whole event, but I think I saw both fork and sheet lightning reflected in my door as I spoke to her; luckily none of the rumbles were loud enough to make me jump and look uncool!

Loud rumble of thunder here, at the port of Tilbury Essex. Heavy rain now...

I heard that rumble! wasn't too sure and first but my neighbour knocked for a parcel and confirmed it. I also have goosebumps and my usual thunder headache...

Raining in the London Bridge area and our Urgent Care Centre has sprung a leak with water cascading through the ceiling!

 

Heard the odd couple of rumbles in the distance after escaping my windowless office to take a peek outside.  Roll on 4.30pm when I can escape from here!

Glad I got my session (running) out of the way in Regents park before the storm arrived - pretty decent when it did though. Looks from the radar that Leighton has copped a couple of biggies today - will ask my 4 year old what they were like!!

 

Shame flooding on the Euston line!

Unbelievable storm  :clapping: filmed it on me go-pro as well..internet went down for a time... sky tv still hasnt recovered,, fire engines all over the place so something or things got hit,, just hoping i caught crystal palace tower being struck!!

Lots of rain here very heavy lasted about 3 minutes with thunder in the distance. Now gone very very quiet

lovely storm in Town (City) just now. Lots of forks and thunder going on, really heavy rain. Gone now, but was great to see the Shard getting hit from the 8th floor of my building.

Wow what a storm

gale force winds,thunder lightning chucking it down with rain and hail.

Few more in the channel but not sure if they will make land.

But im happy now i have had my storm.

Oh wow, I would have loved to have seen that.  I work literally next door to the Shard (only day this week I work from this office) and typically enough, I miss out on most of the storm due to having no bleeding windows!

 

I hope someone caught the Shard being hit by fork lightning on camera - would make an exceptional shot!

I didn't see any lightning but the rumbles are getting more frequent now the rain has died down!
