Did you get much out of the first? Seems it started electrifying just as it crossed into Beds, but we got a flash or two here!

T'other half reckoned he saw lightning about 20 mins ago. Personally I think it was car headlights haha. Few raindrops from a rather disturbed sky.

Good to hear! It's trying to make up for our winter! Yeah, was very heavy earlier, had a bit of hail mixed in.

LOL, Blimey I forgot about our most frustrating non event Winter, Bloody states nicked it all. Fingers crossed for a good few more flashes and bangs tonight.

We have high level lightening here at the mo coming from the SE direction very faint thunder but not much looks like i will have a storm cloud overhead soon. yay

Just sat watching television in the dark and the entire room lit up. Massive flash and entire sky lit up outside!

well that was it and I happened to get perfect glimpse of it as I turned round split second before the lightning Someone asked what direction and if its any help I am in the front of the house looking N/Nw way. Just rain on and off since but although slightly fresher there is still a warm and humid feel

I thought I heard distant thunder so i came on the forum..... yep im hearing it. Is it coming in medway's direction anyone?

Hello SL,I hate that Hot feet when its muggy , I normally walk around the cool kitchen floor, problem is it makes them worse after.

Put em in a bowl of cold water.Cools your whole body down as feet are like mini heat exchangers :-)Edit - another bright flash. Edited June 9, 2014 by 80sWeather
