First clap of thunder here that I can remember for ages; radar shows London getting a wallop in an hour or two

Biblical rain now so can't hear thunder!

Sure I can hear low thunder to my east but can't be sure. Has gone very dark keeping fingers crossed ;-)hail yes and thunder:-):-)

the sun has just come out here, and in the gaps of blue sky to my north are lots of lovely cauliflowers going up. Here's hoping...

Pretty nasty storm here in Croydon, frequent lightning, torrential rain, hail. Just waiting on an F2 and locusts, we'll have the full set then. Killing of first born maybe Meto overreaction though, see the warning for that has been dropped. Sky signal lost too.

I could cry. Yesterday I worked in London and went out in the evening to a venue that afforded clear view of the sky.......Nothing. I got home to find out I'd missed a storm.

Today, I'm working from home in Essex.
