Nooooooooooooo, I'll never be able to sleep.

I'm a creature of habit, change into PJ's, make a cuppa and read JP's weather report before going to bed, along with the other posts too of course.

I've got a job interview on Friday (1st time I've had to do this for years and I'm so nervous because I want this job) and I'm going to need a bang up to date and accurate one please so I can dress accordingly.

I may not post much but I do read every day, and I'm sure there are others like me.

Was a wonderful day for pottering in the garden, well it looks a bit like an allotment at the mo, but everything is nearly in it's final place.  Except for my watermelon seed, that's still in the packet for another week or two. I want a stonking hot summer with thunderstorms at night to cool things down to grow them without a greenhouse, but for now, I'll settle for the pleasant spring weather that we've had so far.

Ok, John....but don't leave us for too long. Your weather updates are a big part of our forum. I find them very easy to read and understand. And we appreciate them very much. :)

Very still and quiet evening here, and quite warm but cloudy. Now rain alarm gone off. Tut!

Dry slot out there at the moment, just before my run to Weybridge for work.

Looks like I'll hit rain in about 30 miles or so.

Have a good one everyone

p.s.  JP, your forecasts are superb, there'll be a lot of disappointed people if you are away too long

Morning All,

After a cloudy muggy start, the sun is now breaking through the clouds.  Took a trip to Broadstairs yesterday - not been there for years!  Also had our first BBQ of the year on Sunday - I do love this time of year :good:

Well, after the drizzle this morning and quite heavy rain last night, we have beautiful blue skies here in the city! Managed to get myself a bit of a pink nose after being in the garden yesterday. Definitely feels a bit fresher than yesterday, last night was too muggy to sleep properly.

Morning all. Likewise, it started dull and drizzly but it's now bright sunshine and drying off nicely. Really wish it would stay like this for the rest of the week as I have a couple of days off.

I think I'd be reasonably happy with that as it only adds South Central into the mix and much of our weather emanates from there anyway!

Yesterday was a lovely bank holiday Monday. Spent it in Hastings with the boy who's just coming up to his 17th birthday and the prospect of moving up to a 125cc bike from his scooter. We have the bike already so I rode it down there just to make him jealous! It did start to cloud up a bit at around 4pm, but still a great day.

No rain overnight - must have petered out by the time it got here. 'Twas a bit murky first thing but bright sunshine now and 16.7C, though with quite a breezy Easterly.

Warm and dry here, if a tad breezy.  Managed a few hours in town to do some shopping.

Backdoor open and making some quiches for the freezer, and feeding tid-bits to the baby blackbirds that come to the door for a few morsels whilst it is calm sunny and warm out :)

Glorious summery day 15.9c Summer is not far away, hope you are, all well.

I might try to do one of JP's summary for the next few days sometime tonight :D

I hope that's not a problem, and I'm by no means going to take John's place, just until he comes back :good:
