The heat is rapidly building in the SE it was 27.2C at East Malling in Kent around 11am this morning

Not much heat here so far today lol, dull and cloudy so far with rain at times,temp 16.6c,if the sun makes an apperance later im sure the temp will rise quickly though.

Well its an absolute scorcher here at 17.7C. I never expected much in the way of heat with the onshore breeze but its actually a pretty poor day so far.

Yeah, I was going by BBC weather which is a little behind and undercooked. 

 

My thermo says 28c as I type this.

Certainly no terrible heat here. Was worried it would be too warm and it's only 24 degrees and overcast so I'm very happy. It could have been a lot, lot warmer. :)

It's usually a "cold" station too. It's quite cloudy and breezy though so doesn't feel that warm.

Not necessarily during BST. Sun is at its highest at noon only after the clocks go back in Autumn.

 

Of course, you could still be right about the max temp anyway.  :)

The max was 21.1C here in the end after the sun came out from mid-afternoon. Its actually nice pleasant weather with the breeze, but no matter how much I dislike the heat, as a weather enthusiast I wouldn't mind seeing high temperatures (at least for a short time!).

yeah as forecast, I am at my hottest generally from 8pm to through the night, NW facing room sucks!

Temperature maxed out at 30.2c here and the winds stayed low. Around 10mph. Absolutely perfect weather. 

 

Shame it's going to be unsettled for the next three days but it doesn't look like a complete breakdown and we should see the temps climb again next week. Will be nice to see some lightworks too.

 

I think we're looking at a fairly lengthy heatwave here.
