A cloudy and mild night with further moderate rain through the early hours. Overcast and damp underfoot to start the day. Sandy coloured deposits noted on windowsills and cars this morning. Mostly cloudy so far, just a few chinks of brightness. The cloud gradually broke up through the morning, so by afternoon there were good sunny spells, rather warm. Turning cloudy towards evening.
