Btw, well done to the mighty Eagles, for their 3-2 win at Everton. My son and daughter, who are Arsenal fans, will be happy, it's helped the Gunners with their quest to hold on to 4th spot and Champions League qualification.

Hazy sunshine here with a temperature of 15C. Interesting cloud formations locally; they look like altocumulus castellanus. Maybe if it was a few degrees warmer, some of us might have been looking at thunder later. :unsure:

Good afternoon everyone. Just about up to posting again after catching a 'cold' a week ago on holiday in St Lucia and being completely wiped out ever since, it would seem in common with other posters on this forum.

We have had some lovely days these past few, wall-to-wall blue sky and sunshine, sometimes on the cool side, but definitely warming up Tuesday and Wednesday. This morning started in the same way but has now succumbed to high but quite thick milky cloud; keeping fingers crossed it clears but judging by some of the forecasts we may not be lucky.

Anyway, some pics of the local park this morning - I just love that seconds from a main road we can get these lovely spots - and a very hot dog enjoying the cool banks and undergrowth (and of course refusing to smile for the camera!).

Been a cool and dull day here and just a few spots of rain on the way home, well anyway that is me in for the weekend until next Tuesday but will be on call Saturday (drat!).

Afternoon, it's turned cloudy now with a few spots of rain, though the sun does try to work it's way through the high level cloud. 

Friday and Saturday look decent though Sunday and Monday look to see rain trying to push up from the continent, still no certainty on the areas affected though.

Now entered evening mode, been fed and watered and have the telly on (for how much longer is anyones guess), the spots of rain earlier appear to have passed and whilst not a heat wave out there is is comfortable (as I found out when taking some recycling out to the bin).

Weekend kind of starts early so got the washing on and going by the forecast it should (he says) be safe to hang it all out on the line in the morning to dry.

 

Had dinner and still peckish, but not doing anymore cooking this evening.  Feeling warm in here for a change too, not so mild outside now the sun is going/gone and would not be surprised if we gained another light frost by the morning.

Well the last few days have been great, wall to wall sunshine and nice temps, which is good generally, but even better people who booked time off over the Easter holidays. Today not so great, but atleast it's been warm or mild (whatever you would like to call it)

Four day break for me know, and whatever the weather gods throw at me it don't care. I'm off work with my family around me, nothing beats that :-).

Just to add, the pics posted on here have been great, thanks to you all for them. I only say this because we can't see who likes the post anymore. And a special thanks to my mate JP for his excellent forecasts.
