Afternoon all. :)

 

Hazy sunshine here and the temperature was 19C about an hour ago - I suspect it'll be the warmest day of the year here so far. B)

 

I took a few bluebell photos earlier in Little Bentleyhall Wood. I was a bit disappointed in the fact that the trees there are barely coming into bud, let alone leaf in the majority of cases, so I couldn't get the contrast I'd have liked and could be seen in Ian's photos a day or two ago. Never mind, at least more light could make its way into the wood as a little compensation.

 

Pictures 2 and 3 here are almost exactly the same, but picture 2 was shot with a much sharper depth of field (I was just messing about really) I think they'll be at their best here from the end of the week, as quite a lot of them were still closed.

hi all just back from a great weekend in Norfolk! i see on the radar to lines of showers down in the south east  looks  like  things could get wet here soon if the radar right  don't care back to work tomorrow!!

Good afternoon all. I hope your Easter is going well.

 

It's really quite sultry here in north west London although the temp peaked at 18.2. Several heavy downpours have helped to raise the humidity. Sadly no thunder here but for the second day in a row it seems storms were never that far away.

Haven't posted for a while but pop in and out now and again!. Hope you are all well and have had a good Easter. Have been out and about over the holiday, up on the Downs, in the woods and along the beach at Bexhill and Eastbourne to name a few.!  (Note to myself... must learn how to post photos!!) We do have some beautiful countryside in this little corner of the world! Heard rumbles of thunder and have had steady rain here after a warm and sunny start!.....Ohh well, back to the old routine tomorrow.....booo!

Evening all....

Hope you all had a fantastic Easter. We had a great one, but the weather didn't really play ball. The days we had outdoor stuff planned it was either cool and windy, or like yesterday a washout, and the indoor days ie today was warm and quite sunny. Currently it is pretty misty / low cloud and very still, hope the rain if any does arrive holds off for an hour... I need to go running to try and work off some of the Easter eggs I've enjoyed destroying. Anyway enjoy the rest of the evening guys... Back on the rat race tomorrow )-:

Very dark, humid and raining here in Ippy. As someone said earlier, thunder never feels too far away but nothing here up to now. And keep losing Wi Fi signal. Now that is annoying. Grrrrrr!

Evening All. :)

We had a almighty storm in the morning, really hammered down no thunder though. The humidity was a tad too much, it felt very warm in the sunshine, at least i got a top up of vitamin D - as I post this the skies are darkening, wonder how things will develop into the Evening.
