Evening all

Not sure where today went (or yesterday for that matter!)

Seem to have spent my weekend on t'internet organising help and care for sick piggies and hoomans ...or washing!

Bleah to possible cold and snow.....had a lot of rain last night, been dryish today but think it's going to ramp up on the wetty front again tonight.

Car is still covered in Saharan dust, despite bombing up and down the M1 to Leeds earlier this week and the subsequent rain.

Numpty is doing really well after the surgery.

Off to feed the menagerie

Wow, well I will make my chicken tikka sandwich in brown bread and sulk then :p

Time to hit the hay I think, even black books (the tv show I'm watching) isn't keeping me away so time to sleep. Night all.

PS - It's mild and cloudy here.

PS. Would appreciate please Capt Shortwave if you would give extra consderation to your idioms in future  ....... "hitting the hay" has a whole different meaning for the Netweather piggies........ who rely on aforesaid substance for 90% of their food intake.

They are slightly upset at the moment about the possible abuse of their foodstuff and are wheeking in my ear. Posted Image

Hope you understand Posted Image

Daily Express Scorchio! Three months of sun are on the way (and summer looks good too)

Long-range predictions suggest above-average temperatures will hold out until July as the country basks in unusually mild conditions.

The Met Office confirmed last month was the 15th sunniest March on record with an average temperature of 6.7C (44F), 1.2C above average.

Its three-month forecast suggests temperatures will stay above average until at least the end of June.

It said: “Latest predictions favour above average temperatures for both April and for April-May-June as a whole.â€

James Madden, forecaster for Exacta Weather, said temperatures could nudge 86F during the latter part of summer.

He said: “Some periods of warm and settled weather can be expected throughout this summer – in particular in the latter part of July and into the first half of August when many parts of the country could see temperatures ranging in the mid to high 20s at times.

Thanks for ruining our summer JAMES MADDENPosted Image

Morning all, hope everyone is well.dark, dull, damp, dreary and still is the only way to sum it up today. Busy ols week coming up, hopefully the bank is now sorted, actually off today to see a client and discuss some problems, properly be my fault, they always are. Has potential to be a great or disastrous week, doing some very complex work on a monitoring and then the control system for a large fridge plant, this is when you have to believe in other people abilities, let's hope the faith I put in them is justified.

I agree about where did the weekend go, it fly by. Considering yesterday we had a very easy day doing nothing, as you get older time certainly fly pass. Hope everyone has a great week, and enjoy it.

Morning all,

I'm feeling exhausted after a rather sporty weekend - I galloped round Aintree on Saturday and then did 59 laps round Bahrain International Circuit closely followed by rowing 4 miles down the river Thames yesterdayPosted Image

Weather-wise it’s pretty miserable here today, grey and wet and not very nice at all, maybe it’s just as well I'm working!

There is a chance of something thundery in the heavier pulse of rain expected later this afternoon….

mmmmm

That cluster of thunderstorms over Normandy will move NE through Channel to SE England so it's worth watching the progress on the Netweather radar...

A storm forecast has been issued for today until tomorrow morning with a risk of squall lines forming with strong winds, torrential rain, hail and possible funnel clouds.
