Not been a bad day here but the misty conditions coupled with a nagging breeze have kept temperatures down at 13.5c, certainly less than I would have expected looking at the forecast.

Hopefully a bit more sunshine about tomorrow.

A few months of usable evenings return again tomorrow, weather permitting of course.

Hate it when a wet weekend stops outside jobs for another week.

Metoffice yellow warning for rain for showers and thunderstorms this evening for our neck of the woods!

I really hope so! We look to be on the edge of that band of thundery rain though, hope it doesn't miss here.

Doesn't look like there will be storms here, just rain. Its cooling down fast but its probably not warm enough for storms now.

The rain is on our doorstep, however the band is not thundery, we'd hear it by now here if it was, bouncing off the Welsh hills. So it is, unfortunately, just rain.

Thundery rain in a forecast is a guarantee that no thunder will be heard.

Doncha just know when the words Thundery rain are uttered, that there will just be rain with just a gnats fart of a rumble somewhere or other.

IMO the best day of this spell, not a breath of wind and certainly felt warm in the sun this afternoon.

We even managed an hours walk after coming home from work.

It certainly makes a change from those dark winters nights with nothing to do other than watch telly and vegetate.
