Frequent hailstorms throughout the day today. Some of the hail rather notable too.

We had some wet snow showers last night while I was out and about at a house party in the village. nothing much but it did at least look nice.

Did you have any snow around 4-5am Mullender? I was woken by heavy rain but thought higher up would have a chance. I guess you may only know if it settled and is still there when you wake up lol !

just seen this, yes I was up around 2am and we had some wet snow sticking to cars a little etc but gone fairly quickly

Had heavy wet snow shower here in Frome yesterday at about 12.30 ish p.m

This morning woke to find a couple of bits that must have fallen and froze in the hard frost we had last night. Not talking about a covering but few flakes on the brickwall.

What a beautiful weekend it was! Pretty much sunshine throughout, not a single shower.

Currently 10℃ after a low of -2.9℃

Minimum of -1.8c this morning which made quite a change when going out before 07.00!

Lovely day so far but frontal cloud clearly thickening as you look SW, 10.4c at present with hazy sun.

Different day, different weather, cant be called boring that's for sure. Yesterday scraping ice, today removing screen moisture inside the car.

In reference to someone's post the other day asking if it has all dried up on the levels, saw this reply on twitter from the 'FLAG' twitter page;

yes, water is receding. Still plenty on the moors but roads open & recovery phase well underway #neveragain

8mm of rainfall yesterday, now it's on it's way back. Currently 11℃ and spitting.

Maybe some warmth at the weekend?! :)

Really interesting morning out working with the frontal cloud to the East all morning and mostly clear to the West throughout too, although changes did occur more notably from around 10.00 as an ENE breeze picked up bringing that frontal cloud back West and lessening the effect of the clearer conditions.

Something else about the levels... This time a picture of what it's still like over there. This picture was taken on 22/3/14, so, on Saturday:

I really was not expecting dense fog this morning and once that had lifted into low cloud it took until nearly 11.00 for the sun to break through hazily!

Still very hazy now with some weak sunshine among the murk and what I think could be some decent convection taking place but it's not easy to see.
