I could see the storm just to the West of Manchester late in the evening yesterday as my house is quite high up in Broseley which sits on top of Ironbridge gorge. Must have been massive for me to see it 60 odd miles away. Did manage to see the odd faint flash high up in the storm cloud, which had the classic anvil head. Think distant storms like that are fantastic to watch.

Thunderstorm i had just before 4pm Tuesday afternoon with lightning at 0:16 a lightning flicker at 1:25 a sferic on radio followed by thunder from another storm at 3:40,a nice cg at 6:45. a nice storm the 3rd one in since the early Saturday morning one.

Started foggy here, but soon cleared.  Was glorious on Chesil Beach this morning, slightly hazy skies, warm and very pleasant.  Wish I could still be there. :cray:

I would say perfect setup for summer fans in extreme SW, doubt you will even see a cloud! im not envious as many know not a sunshine fan, I should have a cool/cloudy few days in NE area
