Where did our lovely warm humid weather go? It's cloudy...rain on and off, with a noticeably chilly N/NE breeze.

Don't like this one bit.

It should come back in later with the showers if we get a S wind.

So much for sunshine and showers ; dull, misty, chilly ESE wind, persistent rain/drizzle, not even a hint of brightness yet, 10.8c!

Not good here in NE Somerset too with thick cloud, no brightness, a cool ESE wind and nearly 10mm of rain today so far. Just 11C currently. Hardly surprising being that posters in the North and West of the thread zone report NNE winds, NW over Cornwall while here it's an ESE wind. I think the centre of Low pressure is making it's home over Devon currently.

Of course it would be typical that the day none of the showers are electrically active, they all pummel into Bristol. Doesn't look like a nice day at all over in the West Country today!

Sunshine and showers? Pretty poor call if that was the forecast. It's been a rank rotten dark day reminiscent of October. Persistent cloud, rain of varying intensity on and off, and a wind that is shall we say noticeable for its coolness.

Seeing that places are struggling with temperatures between 7 and 9 degrees was a bit of an eye opener!

rain quite widespread over the country with that low stationary.

Sunday does look a lot better though as the low starts to fill and the showers die away.Hopefully some sunshine to finish the weekend.

The organisers of the Devon County Show have cancelled the event for tomorrow because of the state of the car parks.

The car parks were closed this afternoon because weather had turned them to swamps.
