Pretty depressing morning her. Slight rain from a fairly complex sky. High Ns with some Sc and St all associated with the front which is very adjacent.

Overcast here, more akin to Autumn. I can't manage any storms so I want the sun and warmth back.

No chance of anything here with all this cloud around.

 

Total bust all round. Want the sun back out for some warmth.

Today will be better for those who missed out, Wales had three maybe four bouts of thundery stuff - emphasis shifts further east today, still all or nothing which even during the best set ups is always going to be the case anyway. (If we're going to remain realistic.) not pessimistic!

Let those clearer slots do their stuff. Temps up. Rumbles then... :)

These were the lightning strikes that hit the UK yesterday! Wales done rather well if you ask me..... Anyway that was yesterday and today is today!...

Sooooo let's get ready to Rumble :laugh:

Got in shower and cleaned house just popped outside and temps jumped from 17c to 20.6c in an hour and a half... Suns out and pretty humid..

Back to full on cloud cover :rolleyes: Temps where at 19c, now dropped again to 18.3c looking at the radar http://www.raintoday.co.uk/mobile not much happening atm,

but keep an eye on what's coming out of France, full of Hope that'll be exploding into life and heading this way for later. Fingers ever so tightly crossed again :)

Hoping a few cells off the coast of Cornwall turn thundery but looks unlikely. Quite a lot of messy cloud it seems for many today so certainly no storms on the extent of yesterday imo.

We had 2-3 close flashes of lightning and loud thunder last night and some brief torrential rain. Better than nowt I suppose but hoping for something more.

Looks like that may be about it from this spell.
