Had a good day in Milton Keynes yesterday, weather there was lush! Glad to be back home though, currently sunny with a fair amount of cloud but still warm at 21.5C.

Up to 25°C now. Still very warm here.

Seems you've managed to retain much of the warmth. 21.1°C here, a full 6.1°C cooler than this time yesterday.

Sun has come out well this afternoon, feeling warm again. 22C or so with sunny spells seems to be the default temperature/weather this summer, which is back to the pre-2007 standard. Hope it's back for good :good:

Noticeably cooler today but still managed 24.4C before this high cloud moved in, was a lovely sunny morning. Bit blowy today too - owing to the fresher feel.

Blanket of high cloud for much of the afternoon, but still spells of hazy sunshine. Cool breeze at times.

Bit more sunny late afternoon, early evening. But generally not as good as yesterday. Max 22c at Mumbles,

Indeed, been very few days which has had the full cloud over from 10-6 which Im pleased to say. I really do believe we are back in pre 2007 conditions and that goes for winters too so maybe milder and wetter is the trend again but very decent summers.

Dark even thundery looking clouds looming on the horizon = probably don't expect a lot for the time being. Crap I'm beginning to moan lol :)

Looks like some heavy rain East of Aber heading this way. One strike bit further down the coast earlier so not holding my breath.

Just looked at the sun figures on Roger Brugge's site- Shawbury has made 200 hours in successive months for the firsts time since the electronic sensors readings started in 2002. Last time it happened under the old sensors was June and July 1999.And there has been more sun there in this past week than in all of July 2010 or June 2012. Edited by Summer of 95

That is a remarkable statistic! To be honest if August doesnt turn out that great, we can be very satisfied with June and especially July. Fantastic conditions for most of the time.

It's much cooler here today with scattered cumulus signs of a unsettled weekend very strong now but it's been a great June and July would have been amazing if August could have been the same but looking unlikely now.
