Hello my new Englander neighbours.

Some very heavy rain earlier this morning. 17mm since yesterday.

Has been relentless windy the past few days, feels more like October. Calmer and sunnier now but turning wet and usually windy tonight into tomorrow especilally to the SW.

A layer of Cs has slowly encroached recently so now have Cs, a little high Ac and the remnants of the earlier Cu.

Cs, Ac,Cu ?.... There must be some Ci, Cc,Cb or maybe St in that mish-mash of clouds somewhere over the Rainbow.... Loving it :D:good:

Does this mean the first signs of an approaching front then ?

Cs is the forerunner of an approaching warm front. In a classic situation it will lower and become As and then Ns with rain.

When it comes to, is it going to rain?.....The radar tell me all i need to know :D:good:

March was a pretty decent Month, Warmer, drier and sunnier than average over most parts, certainly covering most of Wales and indeed the new combined regional thread.

Pathcy rain here so far this evening, but not looking so promising tonight and tomorrow.

Good day to all in our enlarged region.

It seems the overnight rain has passed through our patch and has left the ground very wet.

Skies clearing for now but i would think we can all expect some showery activity through the day with some prolonged showers around especially near the centre of the low further north.

some strong winds too around the south west and parts of Wales.

I think the lawn will have to remain uncut today.

The wind has picked up. But, I think I'm going to have to wait until this afternoon until the high winds start.

Ick, not the kind of weather I want at my weekend, dull and miserable with a cold wind.

Still waiting for the first 20c plus day/warm spell of the year here, here's hoping the high pressure at the end of the week doesn't topple in time for Saturday and some upgrades begin!
