bit of snow in the air here this morning - nothing settling though and it looks to have melted too at 400m+

A wintry mix here today last night and this morning, rain, hail, soft hail, graupel, sleet and a little wet snow.

But apart from adding from the impressive number of hail days s far this year, would be happy for spring weather to restart.

Brecon Beacons looking pretty earlier, snow on the top. Roll on summer now as we could do with some warm weather

Well as we are less than 100 days into 2014 not so sure about that..but yes plenty of hail this Winter!

My hail totals:

16 days so far in 2014

40 days out of the past 12 months

EDIT: Sorry Keith you were referring to the number of hail showers,  100 is then quite a realistic estimate yes!

Yep thunder was very loud here in Cardiff around 9am today! Came from a cell which intensified over the B.Channel moving north, got a mate to load the radar in class!

Shrouded in cloud all day in the valley.  Be this THE SMOG what they keep talking about, or just normal welsh weather?
