Storms seem to have a more easterly movement to them again, so I can see why members in Solihull might be getting excited. Coventry and possibly Rugby should be looking out to.

Things more sproadic to our south west...but it's there and it's approaching so we're not in a bad position at all.

Skies black here now, its just a waiting game.... :p

Looks like to the West and the East of us here have had storms.

Its been a pleasant and dry 21c to 23c day here and although grey earlier, blue sky out now.

Had about 4mm of rain last night and 0.2mm around 8am.

We had a brief thunderstorm I'm told on Thur night, but slept through it so must have been light.

I could see some flashes and deep distant rumbles but very little was over head.

Better than many though so shouldn't complain. Frome has done very well with the position of storms over last 2 days!

South Warwickshire is getting a right pasting at the minute. Hopefully this hits Hinckley. Although I'll be setting out for Coventry in a couple of hours so looks good for me either way.

First spots of rain falling. No flashes seen as yet.

I reckon Leamington Spa, Coventry, and Rugby will be the sweet spot :)

Darn lucky Solihull/Birmingham lot, these storms always seem to follow the same path, still just light/moderate rain here, needs to bugger off ASAP!

Think people have fallen into the trap of seeing where they live being in the amber warning area, then assuming they are nailed on to get thunderstorms. It never happens like that. Somewhere will be inundated with thunder and lightning with an inch of rain/hail falling in an hour, 10 miles down the road will get nothing. That's the way it goes.Have to agree with Tony about those in Bath making criticisms...Bath looks to have done quite well for storms.
