Think i'll have to use my ear-plugs tonight - some of us need our beauty sleep ........... :D

I do every night anyway, worst sleeper, hate light mornings, cannot remember last time I was asleep post 5.30am

Crickey, I think you're the only person that I ever heard say they hate light mornings, I love them. Definitely a summer person, I have loads more energy in the summer months. Plus I despise driving to work in the dark and coming home in the dark.

I am a winter lad, love the dark mornings/nights, even when mild, winter is better than summer, would rather a 11C day in winter than a 25+ day in summer

Looks like our present system is still maturing as it heads north ,although the eastern part of this system is narrower its gradually picking up energy ,im expecting to see lightning from this in north somerset come 11pm if not before .tomorrow nights looks possibly the dogs dinner with i should think very intense action from mother nature but locations even at this range still uncertain ,any posters in the sweet spot fri/sat take cover ,hope the action though is spread out .MY KETTLE IS GOING ON its war on flying ants ,gave a pint of blood today ,so i lost a pound in weight so i deserve a sausage sandwich brown sauce ,off to see if theres any flashes out south or west cheers all .

Looks like its really getting going over france now!

I use Mack's pillow soft silicone putty ones. They are very comfortable and block out noise nicely. :)

The radar's showing that it's raining here, it isn't.

Heavy rain here for about 10 minutes - no lightning or thunder, but lovely earthy smell and amazingly it's still 23c

Let's hope for some action, some nice showers coming into Dorset now

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
