Spent last two nights on the patio till gone midnight with a glass of wine and a glorious full moon.

Have a great day all,

It's beautiful isn't it around here at the moment isn't it. Reckon were one of the warmest spots in the country right now. Pretty hot and about 25.5c :D

Beatifully warm and it doesn't feel overly muggy. In fact, was very pleasant walking under the canopy in Wyre Forest. We are under drier air this far west hence the more pleasant conditions...is that correct?

One light shower just over us now, but not much more visible on the radar.

It's been building up since the shower I mentioned just over an hour ago, moving NE and intensifying as it does so.  Not had much here, most went to the north of us, but there's a little more developing a here now.

Was very warm and humid in Bristol today while shopping, high dewpoints and sunshine kept on until past 3pm. Now clouded over with the temperature falling.

Nice to see the 25c barrier breached at last over most of the Midlands, not sure about Shropshire though?

Had torrential rain here half an hour ago. Very large raindrops, lasted 20-30 minutes. Now heading off towards Salisbury.

Apart from the odd few showers showing up, the Beeb and MO have ballsed up the forecast something rotten for today. The websites have only just updated too, extremely poor.

I was looking at EURO4 model yesterday, and it was not indicating that much in the way of rain today for Southern areas.

It wasn't indicating much in the way of storms in the east either, yet a yellow warning goes up. The BBC forecasts painted a very different picture yesterday- wet for several hours this evening and drizzly after that, through until the morning. It couldn't be anymore wrong, you cannot plan anything 24 hours ahead going by their forecasts, it is pathetic.post-15177-0-43508000-1405189843_thumb.g Edited by Mapantz

Dreadful forecast from the Met Office today. Even at 15.00 they had 90% chance of rain, two drops, on my forecast when a simple look at the radar said that was never going to happen. It has now updated and says no rain at all. I have to say for my location their forecasting has not been good recently.
