Was lovely until an hour ago when another of those sheets of nuisance cloud moved in from the NW and is refusing to budge. Please go away, you're not welcome. 23C but feels warmer, we could get a 25 if only the cloud would get lost....

It's all gone a bit 'meh' here as well, stunning up until early afternoon, stubborn grey cloud ever since. And hardly any wind to help shift it, either.

24.7c back home earlier so the warmest day of the year so far (beating yesterday).Since then it cooled down to about 20c due to a combination of a sea breeze and more cloud cover, though recovered back to 23.1c again.Up here at uni a very warm ~25c again.

Just been for an evening walk with the dog out at Highgate Common. A little bit of light rain but mainly a lovely evening. Sun is coming out again now as the rain clouds darken the eastern sky as the rain moves away. Don't mind sitting out on the action this time. We did very well at the start of the week and I like the idea of something more settled this evening.

Yep a good old storm in Stroud tonight âš¡ï¸âš¡ï¸âš¡ï¸

A rare beast to have continued thunder and lightning over a long period! Some whoppers in there as well.

Yep - some real back building to the storm that developed 2 hrs ago ! Still banging away now and by far the most dramatic of storms to hit this area for many years ! Thats our 3rd storm in a few weeks now !

The radar just shows how local these events can often be.

Wish I was more north towards Stroud the lightning looks amazing I seen a few forks from here I think to the north/west of the cell, can't hear any thunder but I'm sure the Yate storm shield will register this storm then do a firmware update to 2014.3.0.1 as there will be no storms around here, never is.
