Storm in gloucester at present. Showing on blitz just popped up heavy rain also

Yep waited all day for it and now it's happening,  this is torrential and I can hear thunder!  Appreciated being out in the sun for the day though!

Ruddy typical. That storm heads towards Manchester and dies.......

Hoping a shower will turn Thundery here later on. Quite unlikely but not impossible. A fair amount of instability just west of us in the Atlantic.

GFS going for a fair amount of instability to pass through here overnight Monday into Tuesday too.

Just been belting down, having been clear enough for stargazing half an hour before. But no thunder of course...

You caught a storm earlier in the evening though? Another member from Shrewsbury reported thus so :)

Disappointingly much cloudier/windier than I expected this morning, was expecting a clear start with some stratocumulus bubbling up through the day but looks like tons of it's already on the way up anyway.

Just figured out how to post video, so this is the first short clip of the thunderstorm that passed overhead yesterday morning

Now I just need to find out how to actually post the video rather than a link.... stick with me, I'll get there.

How did you do that?

Load you vid on youtube, once the page is loaded scroll down just below the vid and click "share".. just below that a link will pop up, copy and past that link and hey presto!

Don't copy & past the link at the top of the page, As this will only display the link not the vid..
