Decent storm this morning, nothing unusual though. Pretty crap day thereafter, as expected. Let's see what Monday brings.

Same here, worst of the storm stayed south east and then to the west in the end.

Dull and damp now though should brighten up in about an hour hopefully.

Worcs, Glos, Cheshire, Derbyshire but not a single thunder report in Shropshire anywhere....

Think you slept through it! Someone from Shrewsbury on UKWW reported:

Frequent thunder and lightning Shrewsbury.

It looked very active around Shropshire first thing.

Love the way at this time of year after a cold front has passed after a plume that the sky appears to be 'lower', if you see what I mean.

Can tell the plume has passed and we're back into familar home grown convection territory.

Edit: if anything, it looks like showers are trying to bubble up already!

Just out for a long walk, very pleasant with sunny spells, and got in before the afternoon showers.

A potentially thundery one looks incoming, but thereafter most should miss us to west and go into Carms.

But with these setups never can tell.

This was a early morning Thunderstorm which started about 7 am .the video starts from the slow movement as it moves straight over my location, with faint rumbles in the back ground 10 minutes into the video just below the houses and tree line first flashes can be seen.by minutes into the video rain and hail begins to fall with flashes of lightning & Thunder getting louder it lasted just over a hour this storm hope you enjoy it.

ps skip to the 10 minute mark if you don't want to watch the very first stages enjoy

Never much thunder risk following the cold frontal passage though, just a case of scattered poppy showers in the SW and Wales, isolated thunder.

It looks like it's bubbling up nicely to my south east from what I can see of it.

Well that was exciting, got up at around 6.45am and was met with a steady shower of rain then drove to work and it rained on and off for about an hour before well nothing really. :wallbash:  :cc_confused:

According to netweather radar I have received around 1mm of rain in last 24 hours
