Looking to be a good day for storms today, if you get one you'll definitely know about it..In fact anywhere is prone - as per usual, some places shall be wondering what all the fuss is about :)Hold tight, they're off down south and more coming this way.

Triple, thanks for bringing these storms back with you from the Balkans

We are having a massive downpour at the moment in St Mellons.

Thunder, big hailstones and big raindrops.

And all the car park is flooded.

Totally missing out on all the heavy rain here. Had around 3mm overnight. Had one heavy shower this morning, current rainfall total today: 5mm. Temp is 14.7oC with a fair amount of cloud about, but currently dry.

All the action is to the east of me now, looks like we're only going to get rain and not a great deal of that either.

Wow amazing day so far, we had an hour of heavy-torrential rain with thunder, lightning and hail this morning. Just had a second storm with thunder and pea and marble sized hail, it was pretty cool seeing them drop and bounce right back up in the air.

After almost an hour of drizzle it's hammering down now with big fat drops from some dark stormy looking skies approaching from the the S/SE. Still no thunder

Hearing some rumbles to the S down your way, skies look stormy down there.

storms seem to be coming in from the channel - lasting for a short while then losing some of there punch as they move into mid-Wales - Cardiff & Newport have had a right battering this morning

Yes they seem to be dying by the time they reach here. Rumbling stopped now, even the rain seems to be struggling to reach here. Current skies to my SE

Yep! On-off-on-off storms since 11am. Just had another storm with a lot of thunder & lightning (and it's still going on), shame it wasn't at night!
