Afternoon all, from a bright and sunny Croydon.

Still lots of flooding problems between Hayes and Addington, especially to properties bordering Addington Road. The floodwater still looks to be rising, on the Rugby pitches at Sparrows Den, bordering Corkscrew Hill. Plenty of fire engines still pumping flood water from affected properties.

Glebe Way is now open though, after being closed for a few days, due to the flooding.

Tom.

OK not good, I am getting "sluggish" as the day moves on, I am going into weekend mode, still have stuff to do but not doing, eeek!

Was told yesterday I need a woman in my life, not convinced, last few (not the last one) failed to truly motivate me, now pets on the other hand always held my interest, perhaps I need a cat?

Before I went to work yesterday I called the RAC out as I couldn't see through the car window. After much thought they suggested it could be 'ice' gave me a scraper and problem was cleared

On way to work I had a problem seeing out of the window and having not experienced this before called my GP, who refused to come out to the A34. So called the RAC who suggested it could be 'the sun' and advised pull my visor down. It seem to work

So learnt two new words this winter 'ice' and 'sun' !!

First lawn cut of the year, my back garden is bathed in sunshine and I even put a sweat on!, Daffs are out, and looking rather spring like.

Afternoon all. Sunny here in Charlwood with some white cloud bubbling in from the south west. Cool breeze.

Hope everyone is ok as flood waters recede.
