Certainly blowing in dirty Dartford, not a good day for Thames water decide too change the fire hydrant outside your gate, leaving a very big hole surrounded by barriers which have just disappeared down the road leaving an unprotected hole, perhaps our netweather legal guru could tell me the going rate for falling down an ole?

That will be an ole fiver to you sir and a 40% commissionPosted Image

Just had a thought I bought a box of Rennie from the supermarket today, do you think that reason the winds keeping down around herePosted Image

Agreed, this is epic in terms of wind speeds. Lights are like a disco here at the mo, haven't lost power though. It still doesn't seem worse than 23rd Dec though

I disagree it's cranked up a gear here in the last 10 minutes, rain lashing against the window now and trees look like there abouts to snap in half, my brother has gone out in it he must be mental lol

Another two hours to high tide and a Bognor it's well up the beach to the shingle bank

http://www.bognorregisbeach.co.uk/live

Wind has really dropped away here and only seems to be heard when the showers come through

Nice webcam! Can't help wishing it was day time but it's clear enough. I used to go down to Bognor a lot as a kid, looks like there could be some flooding there tonight

Must confess, M&S Champoo going down rather well..

Get it down you son. I've finished the effervescence and moved on to the Oloroso sherry.  Things are looking grim inside and out.

Really heavy rain squalls now, the wind has developed that passing train/thunder sound around the house, we must now be approaching the pre-xmas type levels. Didn't put the dog off, he enjoyed his wild and woolly walk and wasn't best pleased on the minor reductions I employed to speed our return home.

Looks like Southampton gust recorded a 65 knot gust.75 mph. It is supposed to get worse later! I do hope not.
