I need some of Milly's meat stew.

Too bad JJ it's all gone.

It's quite surprising how warm I am now after dinner, and a few glasses of wine.  Positively glowing now. :D

Totally prepared for this weather now.

Still quiet here .Whats going on ?? No rain or wind Posted Image

Nothing here either. A bit breezy. The NE direction of the storm is taking it past us so far....I think this will change as the evening goes on

Plague of locusts here in Croydon, just waiting for the first-born next, then we'll have a full house and I can't blame the vino,

just a sugar free 7up, we know how to party in this town. Never drink on duty though!

Joking aside, stay safe everyone.

Tom.

I thought Brighton was suppose to get it in the nuts with this storm?

The fox just appeared and was very wary of the swinging bird feeders! Ears pinned back and sensitive to all things moving about. It's fairly calm inbetween the gusts. Stopped raining and isn't cold.

Incredible weather here, I've never seen waves on a large pond before. Herne Bay Pond, which is a big one is lapping up over and on land. Some pathways are always flooded!

Marie, it will head your way soon, it was relatively quiet for a while here too but the wind has now risen to a Gale force 8 gusting storm force 10.

Still quiet here .Whats going on ?? No rain or wind :(

The main rain band has passed through, we are now into the hefty showers stage so as always with this it will be hit and miss with these....get caught in one and it's torrential (as it was in Braintree about 10mins ago and now dry!)As for winds, be careful what you wish for, remember the strongest gusts are not expected for a few hours yet!I love the idea of a really big storm, until I have to chase bits of my shed roof across the park! :-)Stay safe all ! 20 mph winds in London as well, seems a lot of over reaction. Supercomputers can't beat sticking your head out of the window at the end of day!

Too early to beef about the lack of wind Bovril. Give it a few hours and it will have beefed up and will stir people from their slumber, if they aren't spooning on Valentine's Day still that is.

I think my snow depth cup may need nailing to the patio table tonight! :-)

Ahhh-ha. Gusty here - was cycling - quite pleasant with the wind behind me...

Cycling in this weather, surprised you didn't take off E.T style.
