Its trying to snow/hail here now. More showers still pepping up in the Irish sea.

Dews -1 to -4c in region.....bodes well for later....im going to bed but mite get up extra hour earlier 5am to have peek.... Or not my other half is stoking the fire..... G& t it is......:)

Looks like the band that is in South Wales will get pulled in our direction as the low to the nw moves more nw/w that is what will probably hit us Edited by davacr123

Southern irish sea/ lundy area where its expanding and moving ne.... Plus as earlier shower growth in wales has shown this very unstable air mass can greatly increase precipitation over land.... We shall see... Factors are there.... Upper air shows it moving more ne as night goes on....Cardingan bay showers incoming..... Edited by WillinGlossop

It's icy out there tonight with all that surface moisture frozen over. Bodes well for any stickage tonight, though of course that probably means I'll get nothing!

Sound like its snowing outside now. I don't bother looking out. Its probably one of those isolated showers.

I want to go to Southport tomorrow to stand on the end of the Pier and feel the full wrath of it, however I am 99% sure that public transport will be cancelled, so getting home will be rather difficult.. any ideas?

I doubt Mersey-rail will be affected, I've never known it to be, I trust that to be running even when anything else isn't. Sounds like a great idea actually, standing there with a bag of fish and chips, although they might blow away I suppose. Any idea when the peak of the winds are supposed to be tomorrow?

Its snowing and laying in mid and north wales! If it gets here im estimating 2-3am.....
