Looks like another pathetic storm for us down here now then.

Just more heavy rain where flooded areas don't need it.

Just driven the three miles home from Ashwater and in the course of the journey had very heavy snow that turned to hail and then sleet by the time I got home. Reckon it could be white here in the morning at this rate

It could be a very interesting late afternoon and evening for some parts as the 3rd section of weather for today turns up!

Section 1 was heavy rain and gales, section 2 has been gloriously sunny and breezy, section 3 may bring the best wintry element of the whole season.

There are lots of showers racing in from the West and with falling temperatures I feel anything goes, it's dropped from 6.9c to 5.9c in the last half an hour here and that's been with unbroken sunshine, so once the sun goes down in the next hour I expect a rapid drop before the showers arrive.

Those with outdoor plans this weekend keep an eye on the forecast. Detail aside at this stage (irrelevant for now), we have a growing concensus for a severe storm again. :(

Hailstorm

Posted Imageimage.jpg

About as wintry as I'm going to get so this'll do me!

Love a good shower of hail like that! Last one that was akin to that was on Christmas day.:)

The radar certainly looks lively now, a good peppering of showers moving across our region, perhaps those on higher ground may see some other white stuff?!

Well time to batten down those hatches once again, thank god most leaks in the house have been sorted and the builders have done a good job in what little dry day and sunlight they have had today.

Am not looking forward to any of the next swathe of storms,

but Fridays storm only brings this to mind Posted ImagePosted Image

Anyhow, will soon be spring and the next threads will be spring/summer storms, daffodils already out on the island in some places

Stay safe guys, dont venture where not necessary.

Looking interesting!

Although a touch too warm at 4c my dew point has fallen very low this afternoon reading -4c which is lowest I've seen it in long while.

If anything i`d say our concern for Damage should now focus on Friday/Saturday, that southerly depression has deepened intensely since last run and moved on faster through to so reaches us Friday afternoon, these winds look far more severe for us in the South compared to Tomorrows storm. things can change i know but the way it looks isn`t good at all in the South on Friday p.m

Hi guys I'm new here! I live not too far from Weston super mare in a caravan. Needless to say we've been having a rough time! We've got really dark clouds over us at the moment and the rain and wind is starting to pick up :(

Not sure where Evercreech is. Big temp drop near Clevedon over the last hour, and impressive hail.
