Somerset levels gets another soaking...

Recommended Posts

Hi

I've just put together an estimated rainfall accumulations map for the SW that I have derived from the UKMO weather radar images. Let me know how it compares with reality in your area - its pretty close here in mid-Devon.

It highlights the higher totals over the Blackdowns and the hills in south Dorset which is where I think the source of the River Parrot is.

It looks like the worst is over for the time being at least.

Yes pretty accurate for West Wiltshire.

The worst over for the time being? If 'the time being' means the next 15 to 18 hours before the next soaking moves up from the South tomorrow.
