So this climate battle is possibly the most extensive one i have done And lets See Which Climate is preferred by the Members of the forum.

England -  the considerably warmer and sunnier summer outweighs the slightly colder winter that Scotland gets, and Scotland's annual sunshine figure is abysmal.

 

In England if you want to bring those winter temperatures down then head to the North or higher elevation.

Hmmm not too sure I guess if you like "variety" then probably England has the better climate for that - Far enough south to get heat but far enough north and east to get cold and snow (apart from this Winter Posted Image )

England for sure. Scotland and NI in particular are far too cool in the summer and most places away from the coast are abysmally dull. The colder winters in Scotland aren't enough to offset the terrible weather for the rest of the year. Wales is a little better.

I think you cant go wrong with my home county of Essex..warmer drier summers and colder drier winters..also ideally located to tap into those cold snowy easterlies when they decide to make an appearance.
