I think the strong winds are a tad behind schedule but wait. 70 mph gusts for Penzance forecast for later.

A mild start to the night with further showers. Turning colder and clearer during the early hours with a slight frost by morning.

Mainly dry with sunny intervals so far today, just one light shower in the past hour.

A morning to catch the unwary out. Passed an accident on my out for a walk caused by patchy black ice. One range rover on it's roof two other cars damaged. Overall so far much better day than forecast though. One or two light showers not very windy.

Showers early last night clearing to a slight frost later.

Mostly cloudy and windy today, showers of rain with a little hail and sleet this morning, turned heavier and more prolonged by midday, and became almost continuous moderate rain from mid afternoon. Fresh to strong SW gusting gale force. Rather cold.

Sunny spells through the morning, turning windy. A few light showers around by the end of the morning. The afternoon saw a good deal more cloud with showery rain before dusk.

A dry morning with Cu increasing from mid-morning after a sunny start. The afternoon was cloudier with one or two light showers but the bulk of the showers did not arrive until early evening. A windy day, the S wind increasing to gale force this afternoon.
