Annoying to narrowly miss an ice day - there could well be not a single one this winter!

The temperature has risen slowly throughout the evening and is currently 1.9c, however if it gets no higher than 3.2c it will still be the lowest maximum of the winter so far.

The last winter with no ice days here was 2007/08 with a lowest maximum of 0.1c on Dec' 14th. The winter with the highest lowest maximum was 1988/89 with a maximum of 1.0c on February 25th; the way this winter is going I can see that record being threatened.
