The Met Office has just confirmed it has recorded a gust of wind of 106mph in Aberdaron, in north west Wales, in the last hour

Quite worrying as that is a bit on the early side for such a strong gust, might be even stronger to come in the next 2 hours.

Storm center about to head into the Irish sea.

Does that mean the really strong winds will move out of Ireland into the Irish Sea and then into Wales and NW England?

Worst of the wind seems to have passed here, still quite bad, not not like the last few hours.

Might try get out and survey the damage when the winds die down a bit more.

Winds are horrific here, fence has just blown down again! and there are alarms going off. worst winds of the winter. The low seems a bit further south to me?

All schools in Pembrokeshire have been closed because of the weather, it has been announced. People are being urged to stay indoors.

All sent home about 13:00, roads closed because of downed trees, one of ours here hasnt blown over it has snapped off about 5ft off the ground and that is a 25ft conifer, houses have been damaged in the local towns and roads closed to, still like a low drone noise all the time then a howling gust,  terrible, worst yet by far.
